3 options:
The house is situated right next to the main road. The house is separated from it by thick above 2m high wall made of concrete blocks. Old trees are not healthy anymore and will be removed. Their place will be taken by 3 parking spaces which needs to be created. At the moment the gate is on the other side of the courtyard.
Clients requirements are:
- water feature
- modern style / cottage look
- raised beds, planters
- spices for kitchen use
- raspberries, apple/plum trees, strawberries, black currant
- space for small swimming ring
- seating area
- terrace from living-room to be expanded
- old fashioned seating opposite of the entrance
I've been asked to design a garden - my first project! YAY! It is very exciting to see what the final result will be. Garden is around a new build house situated right next to the busy road. Hence the original owners built a massive fence from concrete gray blocks (what other colour they could have?!). Even though it is not the most seducing look, it is definitely great sound barrier. I went to see the site the other day and will post pictures as soon as I have the plan and dimensions of the whole site.
My friend is your lady who enjoys contemporary style. The interior of the house proves that well. I had a quick look at some ideas.
